Nick Jacobs to Visit Minnesota

I talked to Nick Jacobs Sunday at the Viking game when he was named to the All-State team and this afternoon about his weekend visit and posted a story on him.

I'll be at the Gopher game, which the players are expected to attend and will try to post more later, especially with the Breakdown Tip-Off canceled.

Ive seen this kid play. He is an absolute beast. I graduated from delano in 2008. He is def the best player from Delano since Nate Triplett not named Dominique Clare who will be SDSU's starting RB next year. Must get prospect to me.

I've posted before that this kid is the real deal. Coming out of the Wright County and being named lineman of the year isn't something that the conference coaches just hand out. This is the same conference that Spaeth (when STMA was in the Wright County), Carlson, Vandesteeg, Hoese, and Triplett were developed. It's strange how he has very litlle recognition until recently, coming from an area that has produced some goood players.

Dominique Clare will not be the starting RB for SDSU next year.
He will hasn't seen a ton of action yet. They have a MN kid who will be a redshirt freshman next year who averaged 9 ypc in the Lake Conference, as well as one of the better RBs from South Dakota who will be a RS soph.
He will probably get some time, he will not be starting and probably wont be a featured back.
