Next Season's Breakout Players

Green, Wynn, Cooper

Green-- I'm guessing a disciplined smart route runner is going to see a lot of open looks
Wynn -- Healthy o-linemen anchoring another year of improvement
Cooper -- Enough D-Line to eat up blockers will allow him to fly around

yeah - I forgot to add Kenny Watkins, as well. He's def. going to surprise a lot of people.

To me, Cooper, Carter, and Tinsley are obvious answers because they saw significant playing time and we saw their potential.

The question for this thread should have been about players we know little about in predicting a breakout player.

In that light, I'll pick Hageman and Ed Olson. The former probably has the best combination of size and athleticism on the squad while the latter was a star in practice this year while redshirting.

You are an ignorent putz-so he passes for 400 yds. in one game and do you think the offense's woes are strictly on him? Get a life! The kid has busted his butt for the U and is a tremendous representative...you could learn something from him...putz.

Sure I could learn something from Adam Weber, unfortunately it would not be how to throw a football or how to avoid a sack by throwing the ball away.

Offense: DaJon McKnight. This guy has the size and athleticism to be a big time player.

Defense: Spencer Reeves. Many scouting services had him rated higher than Cooper out of high school.

Hopefully Fisch and Brewster.

Nothing is impossible. I know very few people who want to improve who don't learn from there mistakes. One thing is for sure, these two are certainly very driven individuals, so I expect the offense to be improved. I look at the oline and have some hope for better times. Maybe Weber will turn in a great senior season and we'll all get misty eyed (for the right reasons) at the mere mention of his name.

Forgot about Reeves. I'm really excited to see what he can do.
