Remember folks, if you're thinking undefeated national champions...the Big Ten has championship game from now on...so on top of the 12 game season, there's a conference championship game to be factored in as well as a bowl game...so it'd be 14-0.
 


I thought at the beginning of this season that the Gophers had a chance to be pretty good...in 2011. And that was with Brewster at the helm. I think they are going to be 8-4.
 





I'm thinking 6-6. It would be nice to actually whip an inferior nonconference opponent instead of a game decided in the 4th quarter

Well, we could go 5-3 in conference (and 0-4 in non-conference) and win our division and then lose in the championship game... OK, not likely I'll grant you, but theoretically possible. Also, in case there are not enough bowl eligible teams to fill all bowl slots, it might be possible to get into a bowl game at 5-7. Still not very likely!
 

I'd be happy with six wins and a bowl bid. Typically, the first year of a new regime is a disaster, but I think that won't happen this time. It will be very interesting to see how well prepared we are for a tough opener, contrasting that with Brew's opener against Bowling Green, which was the worst Gopher outing (especially on offense) I had seen in forty years. I couldn't believe that game.

I thought they were relaxing the rules for next year. What bowl game would you get to go to at 5 and 7? Oh well, I'd still go.

We'd have to go back to Gute for a first year coach with more than 3 wins. Jerry "the magic man" Kill. Can't wait for Sept 3 2011.

put me down for 14-0 and unscored upon as well. We deserve it.
