Andy Reid will not lose weight in KC with all the great BBQ.

The guard play at Michigan is so good, I just don't see how anyone in the Big Ten keeps up. They are going to have to have some awful nights shooting to get beat.Ilini spank tOSU.
Final Score:
NDSU 39, Sam Houston State 13
Off to the Cotton Bowl thread to finally talk some Gophers!
Two consecutive National Championships and a fan base that actually follows and travels to support their team.
I can see where our fans might have some resentment.
Consider me shocked that a fan base of a team that's averaged over 12 wins a season the past three years and has two consecutive NC's would travel well.
Like I've mentioned before, I usually cheer for NDSU as my sister went there for two years and I have family and friends who went there as well. It's the arrogance of some of them and that some think we (Gopher fans) should automatically cheer for them since they have so many MN kids on the team that's annoying to me.[B/]

Either way, congrats to the team.
I totally understand what you're saying. I was recently faced with a sobering dose of reality tho.
I went to the Fiesta Bowl Thursday night, sitting in the KSU side. As I looked around and saw 35,000+ fans wearing purple, it occurred to me that I just don't think there would ever be that many Gopher fans at a bowl game. Sure, many have said "when we go to the Rose Bowl, I'll go".
I mean, these KSU fans had filled the place 30 minutes before kickoff, while the Oregon side filled more around kickoff. It made me a little sad, thinking I would never see this from our fans. It was impressive, especially for a team that hasn't had a lengthy extended history of success.
Say what you want about success but its pretty impressive for NDSU to have that many fans in Texas. Good grief, if I'm not mistaken, N Dakota has a population of only about 600,000. That's support
Ding, Ding, Ding. There's a reason that Arco Arena was known as a tough place to play when the Kings were winning. Look at Oklahoma City now. Same thing. The vast majority of the time, if you have a limited number of options and a winning team, fan support goes through the roof. It's not Rocket Surgery. Here's the thing no one really thinks of... Nd has nothing!! They don't have a pro football team, no pro anything really... Who else are they supposed to cheer for? Of course they are gonna have a lot of fans because they have no one else to cheer for. Ndsu has the corner of the market over there. But what do I know I'm just a gopher fan.
