Wow, that's it? Why is the "I" a "1" if there is no 2 for 12? That's really dumb looking.
 




The new PAC 12 logo makes the big ten logo look a high school art project. Epic fail
 

I think the G is supposed to be close to a 0 so it looks like B10 at the same time as it looks like BIG

General rule of thumb, if you have to explain the design ten it is a poor design in my book. Kind of like having to explain a joke, it just isn't funny then.
 



I just don't think it works well. An imbedded image should be obvious once you see it. The 11 in the prior Big Ten logo was obvious once it was pointed out to you. The FedEx logo has an imbedded arrow in it, most people don't notice it, but once it is pointed out to them, they can't avoid seeing it. This one, I can see that it is supposed to signify a 10, but it just doesn't pop out at you.

I don't know anyone with half a brain who would disagree with you. I was just pointing out what I saw when I looked at it. The same goes with the division names. You could reverse them and nobody would know the difference.
 


I did have someone point out to me how easy the 1G in B1G could be converted to a 16 should the conference ever expand to 16 teams.

The new logo is pretty "meh" not great not horrible. It's a 6 in my book. Personally I think it needs a harder edge to it, some how it looks soft to me.
 

Isn't Legends and Icons a tad bit better? Legends/Roses? East/West? North/South?

I think the B10 in this logo is much more obvious than the embedded 11 in the previous one. I like the new "B10" logo where the "B" is black and the "IG" is blue, because I think it makes it more obvious. I don't really like the "BIG TEN" version of it where they are the same color.

This is obviously beyond your capacity to grasp, but people get to have their own opinions. You obviously have some sort of dictator complex, but people actually get to have different opinions than you.

Clearly, they used Black and Blue as in bruised and battered. With the BigTen being associated with tough guys. I think the Blue could have been a little darker, - it's too "powder" blue to me.
 

Cool logos. Dumb names. I hope everyone calls them East and West.

THIS couldn't be more on point.

I didn't get the B10 idea until someone showed just the BIG by itself. Even still, when it's taken as the entire Big Ten, it doesn't really show through.

It's not ugly and it's definitely not the biggest deal in the world, but it's just kind of a dumb logo.
 

Seriously? Who care what the logo looks like. I was more concerned (if you can call it that) about the division names. Can't say I hate 'em, but whatever. It's not that important.

I like the simplicity of the logo, though.
 




Last time I checked there were going to be 12 teams in the Big 10, Delaney needs to learn how to count. People are going to start comparing the B10's academic standards to that of the SEC if we can't even count the number of teams in our conference. As far as the logo and the division names - lame.
