New Lineup for Purdue

I'm not truly advocating Halverson playing at all...but, with our lack of inside presence for next year (Walker, Eliason, Buggs? Foster? Osenieks (too lazy to look up spelling)?), is there a chance he can see any minutes? Or is he just along for the ride...and if so, God bless him, as he really seems to be enjoying himself as part of this program.

Obviously, Tubby and the staff see Halverson every day and you would think if he were a legit Div 1 player, they would have used him more by now....However, based on 2 minutes of action that I saw, he has better instincts and fundamentals than Rodney and Ingram. That spin move and swish he had against PSU was an advanced move for a player in the 6-8 range. I don't know what he can provide on defense or what his shooting is like in general, but he can't shoot any worse than Austin, Joe, Rodney have been shooting. I say give that man some minutes!

I think your argument should end right there.

@GophersNow

Tubby said today he's going back with the same starting lineup pre-Penn State with Andre and Austin Hollins, Coleman, Williams and Mbakwe.
