I have some exciting news to share, I've started a GopherHole.com podcast with former Gophers linebacker, Sean Hoffman. We have partnered with 1500 ESPN Twin Cities thanks to Phil Mackey to produce this, and Johnna Mitich for the moral support and photo cred :).

I know what you're thinking...just what the world needs, ANOTHER podcast. We hope we are a little different. We're not pretending to be coaches, breaking down film, we're fans that are hopeful for this Gopher team, but certainly see shortcomings. Not to mention, Hoff is able to give the perspective of a former player, that knows every aspect of the game in and out. We talk about the tough loss at Penn State on this episode. So, for all of you who love talking Gopher Football with me, hopefully this will feel like a chat we'd have!

For those of you who don't know why I have a huge pink cast, I had achilles surgery last week, so am couch ridden...which is where we recorded this.

I'd love your feedback, and topics you'd like us to talk about. I'm a newbie, and hope that this is something you enjoy!

Thanks, I love hearing his perspective - so different from someone that went through all of this, and knows the game so well.

Unfortunately, this 1st episode won't be on iTunes, but next week's will be. Will post on GH when we record and do the next one...hopefully after Floyd is back at home :).

Hi GH friends - I'll just bump this post when new podcast is out, so I don't clutter up the board. Here's the one from yesterday...

Once again, would love any feedback you have :).

Great podcast. Agree with your analysis. I also like hearing rumors in the grapevine.

Entertaining and the length was good. Sometimes radio/podcasts run a bit too long and try to fill dead air. You are both interesting and and have great radio voices. Hilarious stories.

I'd love it if Sean gives us even more critiques of the Xs and Os from a former players perspective, as Derek Burns does on the Gridiron show. Or bring someone else that is into the nuts and bolts in, for a triumvirate. Other than that little wish list item it's a big thumbs up.

Couldn't get it opened. Sorry. Apparently I missed some good work.

Thank you, appreciate it!

Any luck finds on ITunes?

They promised us it would be up this week...will post as soon as it is!

Thank you! I know we're on the shorter side, but I'm with you - when I see something is 50 minutes or an hour, it just seems a little overwhelming. We'll have to let Sean's wife know that, she told him on the 1st one he sounded dehydrated, so got him filled up on La Croix this time, lol!

That's great feedback, if anyone can go more indepth on x's and o's, it's Hoff. He knows the game, we'll dig deeper next time. We're actually recording right after the Maryland game, so it will be fresh in our minds this week.

Hmmm...trying from your phone (and what kind of phone), or a computer?

Finally found it (I'm kind of slow). You sounded great. JJ
