Kid has great size already. Assuming he can move this looks like a great pickup. Small town kid so ratings are going to be tougher to come by for a someone like him.

Small town schools may not have all the athletic facilities that big metro schools have. This is exactly the type of kids that you’d want in the Gophers developmental program.

He may very well be a true hidden gem.

I am always a big fan of the guys that instantly accept their offer. Those tend to be the guys that stick even if their recruiting takes off down the line.

Kid is built like a college player already, so will just be a matter of adding strength and learning technique. Will be interesting to see where he gets ranked once the sites get around to evaluating him. But regardless of all that, looks like a great addition to the 2023 class.

Kasson-Mantorville has one of the nicest weight rooms in the state along with one of the best strength and conditioning programs as they are part of the Mayo Clinic strength and Conditioning program ran by former gopher strength and conditioning coaches Mia and Karl Erickson!
 

Looks like he's been training in Rochester with former Gopher Jake Kirsch. Kirsch was her under Kill as a walk-on in 2014 and 2015. He's a John Marshall Grad and played at Rochester CTC.
 



I wonder if he’s any relation to former Gopher Trint Tripp?
 




Awesome to get a guy like this in our program now. Help paves the way for the future as to more recruits. Two great guys now for 2023.
 

You can't coach size or internal desire and the kid has both! I am confident in the Gophers coaching staff to give the kid the skills to match the aformentioned traits and get a nice hidden gem here.
 

His HUDL video is pretty impressive.....a couple of his run blocks where he pancakes his man after driving him back 10 yards, and then offering to help him up reminded me of Michael Oher in The Blindside :)

K-M is a darn good school district with a darn good athletic program. Along with Byron and Stewartville (and to some extent Pine Island), they've had quite a bit of growth in student numbers over the past couple of decades. Not surprised that it's showing up here.

Kasson Mantorville has as good or better facilities than half of the teams in 6a IMO
