Justin Gaard is talking Gopher Football until 12:00. He's cutting to an interview with Limegrover now.

He also said that there has been some confusion  about who has the hip pointer. It's Nelson. They wanted to keep playing him so it wouldn't stiffen-up on him.

Just loving how KFAN is talking Gophers all morning. Love waking up to positive Gopher talk before the Packers start. It's just so much fun!

It seems like a good time to have a weekend off.

Well, Leidner and Nelson get along great, push each other, competition is awesome. Nelson showed game balls yesterday when we needed a first down towards the end to clinch it, and instead of going out of bounds to stop the clock, he stayed in took the hit, and got the first down. I admire that fortitude, and yet, only one injury can put the ball in Leidner's hands. The guys showed guts and came out winners. Good job Gophers!!!

I appreciate the coverage on KFAN as well, but can someone explain why they still use the Brewster soundbites all the time? In the past, these have always been used as a way for KFAN (mainly Barreiro) to take cheap shots at the program. Now is it supposed to be endearing or just funny? I'm confused. Brewster hasn't been the coach for 3 years now.

You have just described a play made by the heart of a winner. A true winner. This team has a bunch of them. Be proud of this team and this staff. They are using the right bricks. Brick by brick.

The Badgers are going down at TCF.
