True that being truant from class wasn't the best way to deal with it- but can't imagine how the kid felt after the Social. I think any of us would feel pretty disenfranchised if in his shoes. Hope things work out for him and he learns more effective coping strategies.

I thought it was a weird way to talk about a player on his roster. A lot of the guys would probably not be here if Fleck were the coach.
That said, he's an adult. If he wasn't going to class, I can't feel any sympathy for the kid. He had free tuition, he was going to get a chance to show if he had anything, and if he stopped going to class. . .I don't think he was mentally strong enough to play D1 football.
If the not going to class thing is just a rumor, it's terrible.
