Not trying to look to far ahead :)

Are NCAA Tournament tickets "assigned seats" where you are given a specific seat? Or do you buy tickets based on sections and it's a first come first serve type of deal?

Questions for folks to have been to recent NCAA tournament games.

Also if we do make it, is there usually a deal by the U for plane/hotel/tickets package?
 

They're assigned seats.

Sorry, no info on the packages - to my recollection there has not been recently.
 

Packages are tough because the bracket is announced on Sunday afternoon and the games are just a few days later. The U won’t have many tickets and what they do get will be used internally and maybe offered to top Gopher Point types. Best bet is to scout out locations and travel arrangements so you’re ready to pounce when the bracket is set. There are usually lots of tickets for sale at the venues.
