And that's why, as a Minneapolis Cyclone, I wanted Olivia Olson as either a Cyclone or a Gopher.

Clutch at the end there after an off shooting day. Hobbs stepped up big to make up for the two star freshman having off-shooting games.

I love March Madness but watching all the Minnesotans in both the mens/ women’s tourney is painful. We would be very competitive year after year if we could keep a few of our elite players .

Keeping those players here is going to determine the fate of the Gopher program going forward. It takes time for a new college coach to develop relationships with high school players, so there wasn't much Coach Dawn could do with the last two MN high school classes. However, the longer she's here, the more pressure there will be for her to keep those players at home. The commitments from Tori Oehrlein and Amisha Ramlall show she's working on it, but more are needed.
