NCAA Opts For College Basketball Season To Begin Nov. 25

The NCAA will announce the start date of the 2020-21 college basketball season sometime after 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, an NCAA source said.

The NCAA will announce the start date of the 2020-21 college basketball season sometime after 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, an NCAA source said.

The NCAA Division I Council will meet from 1-5 p.m.

The target period for the start date is sometime between Nov. 21-25 , per sources.

Once a date is set, both non-conference and conference schedules can begin to be set and a flurry of scheduling arrangements is expected.
