Indiana is not a gimme, even though they are 2-4 on the road in BIG play. I watched them beat Purdue in W. Lafayette recently and they were solid. It will be important to hold Cahill in check. That being said, I still think the Gophers are a better team and I'm hoping they can take care of business against the Hoosiers. Anyone else think Purdue could be a sleeper in the BIG tourney? They looked very good in beating Maryland last night and they've been known as a team that always plays well in the BIG tournament, including a nice run last year. Gophers go from their biggest game of the year against Michigan to what now becomes their biggest game of the year against Maryland. I guess the games are all big games this time of year for bubble teams. Instead of knocking on the bubble door, it would be nice to see the Gophers knock it down.
Purdue always does well in the tournament. It is essentially a home tournament for them.
