anyone know where I can download a roster? This is my first time playing this game on the ps3 and when I go to dwnload rosters, nothing shows up? Can someone please walk me through this?
add me to the list of victors with a victory over USC in OT. 29-28 i think
Ahh, Brewster went for 2 in the first overtime to get the win, wow, that's rollin' the dice.
that or I guess we blocked their extra point attempt that would have tied it.
Either way I think the fans stormed the field......how long til that is added into the game?

Apparently "Recruiting Expert" doesn't pay well enough to afford such luxuries as a gaming console developed in the last decade.
You must have far too much time on your hands to follow me that closely. At least you're not taking things personally, buddy. Have you paid up for all your fan sites yet?
Or it's possible that they might be scared to death about asking their wife if it would be OK to purchase a new one, so they sit quietly in their underground lair in the basement playing an outdated system.Just because someone has a PS2 doesn't mean they can't afford a PS3. It's always possible that it just might not be that important to some people to have the latest game system.

Follow you that closely? It doesn't exactly take a lot of brain thrust to read the board and remember what you said (directly to me, nonetheless) in your smattering of 20-odd posts. I just enjoy calling people out on their BS - unless you want to keep up the story that you're a highly-paid, highly-sought-after "Recruiting Expert" who games on a 12-year-old console?
(P.S. I never have, and never will, pay for recruiting information. I don't place much (or any) value on knowing something 5 minutes before the rest of the world does.)
2) I'll stand behind my belief that you're uninformed about how college coaches use online resources for the recruiting process. I was a prick about pointing it out, but I wasn't wrong.
Go ahead and stand behind it. I've never once said or implied any opinion whatsoever about how coaches use recruiting information. I'm thoroughly uninformed on that topic, and have never indicated anything to the contrary. I have no knowledge on that topic at all, and have never commented on it here or elsewhere.
But good job at proving me wrong on a topic that I've never even discussed!
This pretty much defines semantics, doesn't it?
What are you talking about? I've never even remotely implied having any knowledge of how coaches use online recruiting information, nor professed as such, nor claimed anything to that effect. Go ahead and find one instance of this, ever. You'll be looking a long time.
I'm not going to take the bait. You're trying to move this discussion to a dissection of small details and absolutes. I don't care enough to go through your scores of posts and find flaws or inconsistencies.
1998 was the first year it was called "NCAA Football". Before that it was "College Football USA" and of course, "Bill Walsh's College Football". I was unstoppable with the 85 Sooners on the old Sega Genesis.I remember playing the game on my PC (when that was an option) - I think it was NCAA Football 98 if I remember right. I was running the Gophers and was playing Indiana. I had a 20 point lead late and was trying to run out the clock. I called a running play with a lateral and it was fumbled and recovered by Indiana who then scored a quick TD. No big deal - I got the ball on the kickoff and went with the "get right back on the horse" theory and called the same play. Another fumble, another quick TD for Indiana and my lead was down to 6. Well, certainly the same thing couldn't possibly happen again, right? So I called the same play and sure enough, fumble, Indiana TD, lost the game. That was the last time I played it! I just couldn't take that...
Years later, when I got NCAA 2003, I spent a bit of time learning about it (I never did much of that with the earlier one, I just learned enough to start playing) and I realize now that my RB was probably fatigued (I assume it was Hamner in a depressing reminder of the 97 PSU game) and that's why he kept fumbling it. Of course, 3 fumbles in a row with no contact? That's pretty hard to justify, no matter how tired he was!
