Minnesota looks to be in the middle of the pack this year according to the game. I know this doesn't mean a whole lot, but it is nice to see that we are not as easily tossed aside as some of the "analysts" have done.

EA has always been pretty impartial in their rankings, the Gophs have never been rated ridiculously poorly. Even after 1-11 we were still ranked around a C+ for the following year. It will be interesting how they rate our positional players.

Those rankings are misleading compared to real life though. A. Weber will be a 90+ rated QB just because he is a four year starter. M. Gray will be a 80+ rated recruit because he was ranked so high in recruiting. D Bennett was a 80 something with 90 speed back, and Eskridge....that is a legit starter for a Big Ten team in that game...I am not sure if either is a legit starter in real life.

The game, like many people, overrate experience.
