NCAA considering starting season 3 days earlier

Yuck. It already starts too early.

My solution?

Make start date for games 10 days later (Monday before Thanksgiving), get rid of the worthless exhibition games, and set an across-the-board number of games teams can play prior to their conference tournament. I'd set that number at 31 (currently most teams play 29-31).

Agree that the season already starts too early. I'm still in football mode when the season starts as it is. 13 nonconference games, 18 B1G, and 2+ BTT games heading into the Tourney gets to be too much.
