With the draw they received I'll be extremely dissapointed if a Sweet 16 trip doesn't happen. That would result in a trip to Pittsburgh to meet the #1 Panthers. That would be a great experience for our young players. Road probably ends there though.
 



Sitting at the Pav. The St. Thomas fans are here in force and they are loud.
 


It's 5:00 and the concession stands aren't open. Whose dumbass idea was that. Drew's popcorn is loving it though. The St. Thomas fans are mad they can't buy Perrier and a charcuterie board.
 



That was a good old fashioned butt whoopin. Fairfield showed me nothing. Gophers did play a good clean match. Highlight of the night was Chloe Ng ace in the third.
 




I see 29-1 in Round One matches and ... boom! ... Sacramento State pops into my head.
 

29 good things but you can't move past one bad moment. You might be my wife. Didn't know you posted on this site honey.
 





after losing 4 of our starters.. we are heading off to the SWEEET 16..

I REALLY hope this team wants to stay together.. The Freshman have been just FANTASTIC and Julia has been so so damn good!

not likely but IMHO Keegan should really get some COTY votes with getting this team to the sweet 16..
 

Gophers are gonna need to be nearly perfect in every aspect of the game and get some help from Pitt along the way for any chance of a victory.
 

Considering everything that happened this year with losing 4 starters, this team is nothing short of amazing. They may not win the whole darn thing, but that does not take anything away from an absolutely gritty season. The growth in the freshman and sophomores has been outstanding.

I should hope they can beat a team with lesser talent than they have on THEIR HOME FLOOR. Man, the bar is barely off the floor, isn't it?

Don't get blown out by Pitt. Then we'll talk.
 



Actually had a chance to win the third up 21-19, but a service error followed by back to back attacking errors and then three straight kills from Babcock and they get to call it a night early. I guess the lights got too bright for our players.
 


I think they did better than expected this season considering the injuries to key players.
The frosh stepped up and have this experience moving forward.
Tough last match for Julia Hansen, she’ll be missed.
 

Watching the second match between SMU and Purdue. The arena is empty. That's embarrassing. That would not happen at the Pav.

for our 5 FRESHMAN.. they kept every match close didn't get smoked in any of them.. I'd say they did a pretty good job under the bright lights.. for a team playing without 4 upperclassman

this experience will help them so much next season.

It's not very full when the other teams play the first match at the Pav. Not sure they've ever had the other two teams play the second match.
