NBA's Board of Governors has passed new anti-tanking rules that include expanding the draft lottery from 14 to 16 teams, a relegation zone

I have no idea if these new Draft Lottery rules are an improvement. It sure seems like just another rash move by arguably the worst Commissioner in professional sports.

Penalization for poor team performance in European soccer leagues adds a whole different level of yearlong competition in regards to avoiding relegation and the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars that comes with it.

Tanking doesn't even make my Top 4 reasons as to why I rarely watch the NBA outside of the Wolves:

1. Flopping
2. Inconsistent refereeing
3. Preferential "star" treatment
4. Maintenance games off
5. Tanking
