This statement right here is why I’ll support PJ as long as he keeps producing wins at about the level he has been — even if that “magical” season never comes. I’d love to strike gold with a Cignetti and transfer class(es) that bring 11-1/12-0, but the risk of either regressing or treading water AND losing this culture we can all be proud of is just too great IMO. To each their own, though. I don’t begrudge anyone their opinion about the program.

Plenty of good cultures around college football. Personally, I’d like about a 25 percent shift away from culture focus and more toward football development and a lasered focus on game day prep and coaching. The latter is not keeping up with the Jones’.

That’s crazy, sounds similar to Wisconsin. If you’re a mid level program I think it’s a serious issue to not recruit well within your home state.
