My open letter to Wisconsin fans

O.K. So I'm looking at this and wondering- 40,000 Badger fans screaming "asshole"? Really? All at once? If so, pretty cool. First-orchestrated. Not to be underestimated as some effort had been made on behalf of the author. Second-nice to be recognized (for what you are) anyway. Right? Sorta like...hello?

40,000 badger fans screaming "asshole" one at a time is, of course, different. Tactical subterfuge. Cost that Badger fan one second. 40,000 of them cost you eleven hours. Renders, by itself, all else as irrelevant. Mission accomplished.

'Course, there could be a wee tad bit of hysteria surrounding Badger fan behavior?

Naaah.

News flash window licker, chanting 'Ass-Hole' isn't very hard. Especially when you have a belligerent drunk student section leading the way.

And the only 'effort' I made was after being pointed out by a few Badger students (and they started pointing/chanting) was stick my hands up in the air and made the 'bring it' motion. Yes. Very 'asshole'ish of me...

Nice work Formo - but your list is awfully, awfully short. And not nearly as venomous in tone as I would have expected. You should have contacted me and we could of collaborated. ;)

Yes. I know. Two things: As I just posted, I have friends/family that are Badger fans that would have been reading it. I didn't want to ruin the Holidays (especially with the in-laws, it's bad enough as it is). Secondly I just ran out of steam. I had a top 5 list mulling in my head on my way to work.. Then after wards, the Vikings game was playing in the background and I condensed a few of the reasons into one and eliminated one because I just couldn't find a good image/gif.

But, the week's still young.. Much more HATE to be had!

40,000 badger fans chanting? Must not have been in the 1st quarter...

Having lived in Wisconsin for seven years before coming to my senses and moving out, I found one common thread amongst their football fans: If their football team wins, they think it actually makes them a better person. Perhaps it's their fondness for binge drinking that leads to this, but both Badger and Packer fans will act like they're smarter, tougher and better because a bunch of guys wearing their colors have won a football game. I knew plenty of both Packers and Badgers fans whose week would literally be ruined if either team lost a game the previous weekend.

For most sensible folks, football is merely an entertaining diversion on the weekend. If the team wins, then you feel good about it and move on to the rest of your life. But Badger and Packer fans actually think it's elevates their lives and takes them to another level of existence. And that's how they act. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.
Hold on just one minute. You better watch your tongue, Mister. Those fans are part of the team. Sure, they didn't sack the quarterback, score a rushing TD or hammer a 45-yarder through the uprights, but they did take the trouble to buy an $8.99 Hanes Beefy T at Shopko. They are integral to the success of any Wisconsin football team. Just ask them.

Face it, the Badgers went on a 30-something year Rose Bowl drought and had a long period of futility, just like the gophers. The only difference is that we haven't gotten out of ours yet. But we are getting close thanks to Coach Kill (and his wonderful staff).
Are you suggesting that the U is close to getting out of futility or ending their rose bowl drought? Because the former I can agree with. The latter? Not so much

Wow, you must give off some sort of aura.

Why hang out on this board and then post sh!t about me elsewhere. If you don't like me, just say it here. Sadly, the admin here is so pathetic that if I were go off on a rant here then I, the Gopher fan, would get banned from the Gopherhole and you, the Badger fan, would be invited back. We live in a sick world.

That said, nice work Encyclopedia Brown. However, you're still a dbag.

.
I did on a Packer's message board. But I fully admit to trolling it, too. So.....

LOL! Pretty much spot on for most of them.

The only time I went to Camp Randall, three different Badger fans offered me money in the restroom to suck me off. Horrific. I'll never go back. They're animals.

Well...try the ladies room next time.

Also, are you sure you weren't in the asst. A.D. office?
