My....most Wisky fans are expecting a blowout

Inside College Football on the CBS sports channel had all panelists pick Wisconsin. Their prediction simulator says 33-13 Wisky.

Everyone said the same about Nebraska, so that doesn't concern me. This isn't a hope (to win) game to me. This is a game where one team will go out there and will their way to a huge win. We've been a very mentally strong team this year and I think that will be the difference on Saturday.

Understandable.

The Gopher Offense has revolved around David Cobb. The national media has said great things about Cobb. People on here have posted time and time again complaining that Cobb doesn't get the respect that he deserves. David Cobb may not play on Saturday or be limited when he does.

That, among other things, means that most people will pick the Badgers to win, and people here say that "we don't need him".

Both also understandable.

I watched most of last years' game and wow did PN9 play horribly! Missed quite a few wide open receivers, made very poor decisions, Cobb had a fumble, 9 had a fumble, Maxx had a fumble, it was horrible. The thing is, that with all those problems we only lost 20-7. Watching that game, and seeing the improvements this year made me feel better about the game Saturday. It will still be a difficult game, but I really think we have a good chance.

It was so damn cold at the bank that day.

Would have been nice is Stave saved his pick 6 for this year, but I think the ole boy as another 1 or 2 in him.

Was Paul Westerberg talking about the Gophers when he sang, "We are the sons of no one, Bastards of Young"? I like that this team keeps surprising those who haven't been paying attention.

Everything goes
Well, anything goes all of the time
Everything you dream of is right in front of you
And everything is a lie

Post of the day. People are talking about the home field advantage. I agree that it can help a bit on key 3rd downs, noise, etc., but IMHO it's overrated. Penn State - a very middling team that we beat convincingly last year - came into Camp Randall and beat them. It was no fluke either.

I am glad Wisconsin fans are cocky, and I hope their players are too. Then I hope we come and knock the stuffing out of them for 60 minutes.
