Man I wouldn't have guessed we were that low...below Purdue? Yikes. We must have had like a 10 player lead ahead of Iowa (and maybe Wisconsin) before like the mid 80's given how many first rounders each of them have had in more recent years.
 

Mock drafts are not kind to us moving up either. Next year...Spann Ford if we throw to him and he dazzles. Who is our next likely candidate? Seems like it might be awhile?
 

All Time List - Very Cool - Great graphic but we are not good the last 30 years!! Or 50 years for that matter!!!
Bateman in '21, Maroney '06, Middlebrooks '01, and then Darrell Thompson in 1990
and Brian Williams in '89. Jumps all the way to John Williams in 1968....21 year gap.
We do average about one guy every decade in the last 55 years...6 guys. hmmm Sobering!
