Most Impressive Wins Since 2000

I knew this thread was going to be depressing but for some reason clicked on it anyway. I'd say last years axe game which in itself is depressing.
 

Looking back, I'd say:
2000 vs Ohio State, finished 8-4
2002 vs Arkansas, finished 9-5, SEC West Champ
2005 vs Michigan, finished 7-5, but was a team with Henne and Manningham
2010 vs Iowa, finished 8-4 with a bowl win, returned talent from that 09 team with Clayborn and Stanzi
2013 vs Nebraska, finished 9-4 with a Bowl win and top 25 ranking
2014 vs Nebraska, finished 9-4
2016 vs Washington State, finished 8-5
2018 vs Wisconsin, finished 8-5 with a bowl win

When you look at where they are now, where Saban has brought them, and the sheer truckloads of cash that pour into Tuscaloosa because of the football team ..... it is just, utterly bizarre, to think of Alabama as a 6-6 ho-hum type of program, like what Mississippi or Tennessee are right now.

No Fresno State?

In addition to some of the older ones Nebraska 2013 was a turning point for the Kill regime and the program - and one of the more exciting victories in recent history IMO. We helped get Pelini fired, then subsequently Hoke, and so on.

WSU was impressive solely because of the circumstances and depleted roster vs a prolific offense. It probably meant more to the guys and the coaches than some of their biggest *cough* fans.

Wisconsin last year was phenomenal. It wasn’t just a victory it was a decisive victory in all phases in Madison.

It does show how mediocre this team has been. When I was in college we had a big win over Iowa and a big win over Becky. Both of those teams were the B1G champs. Our teams were bad but somehow got a really big win. Kind of amazing that we haven't knocked a really good team off in almost 20 years.

To me the last really big win was the Ohio state win in 2000
 

Haven't seen Purdue 2005 mentioned. Yea the Boilers finished the season in very underachieving fashion but were ranked #11 at time of the game. And it was an incredible back and forth overtime game etc.

Ohio St, and Purdue in 2005 are the only top 20 teams (ranked at the time the game was) we beat.
OSU #6, Purdue #11.
The best team we beat by Sagarin end of season ranking was Michigan who was 21st and moved up to 16th.
