Doubtful, but now pj sees the possibilities after Max. Won't be surprised by anything coach goes after moving forward.Could PJ nab him?
Or just the depth in general ...What we do at QB relies on what PJ, Greg, and the rest of the staff thinks of Drake Lindsay as a starter next year.
I mean, welcome to current day college football. Having to compete with transfer QBs is pretty much the case for every FBS program in the top 50.Quarterbacks may not bother to commit here if we keep going after transfers in that position. Hard to tell how good Lindsay is from our vantage point. I'd say give him a chance if he looks good as he would be around for a few years.
Got a small snippet of Lindsey, but he looked poised and play very well. What we do at QB relies on what PJ, Greg, and the rest of the staff thinks of Drake Lindsay as a starter next year.
So did Athan at one point.Got a small snippet of Lindsey, but he looked poised and play very well.
Someone else beat me to it, but we got A LOT of Athan ...Got a small snippet of Lindsey, but he looked poised and play very well.
Did Moss get hurt or was he benched in favor of Rocky Maiava?
I think the HS QBs realize that’s the new normal; just like in HS, you gotta compete, and he’d be in the same metaphorical if he transferred also.Benched.
That said, he’d be an interesting one to look at. Little risky with the ball but think he could be a very good fit here. I do hope pj portals someone in to compete with Lindsay no matter how good he thinks he is in practice
Unless the high school QB is a five-star prospect, they can probably expect to sit. Curious to see what happens in Michigan with Underwood switching from LSU to Michigan (big NIL deal is supposedly the primary reason, but Underwood is a Michigan kid). As we saw with Raiola at Nebraska, a big-time talent prone to brain farts.I think the HS QBs realize that’s the new normal; just like in HS, you gotta compete, and he’d be in the same metaphorical if he transferred also.
Top 4 are Seniors (no idea if any have any eligibility left or not). #5 is some cat named Jacob Clark.Who is the top fcs qb right now?
Underwood, if competent, should easily start in front of ant QB on their roster I saw plythis year.Unless the high school QB is a five-star prospect, they can probably expect to sit. Pretty sure he is out of eligibility after this year as well but who knows with the way eligibility works these days.Top 4 are Seniors (no idea if any have any eligibility left or not). #5 is some cat named Jacob Clark.
Hopefully Drake took advantage to learn with Max here and will be ready to go!What we do at QB relies on what PJ, Greg, and the rest of the staff thinks of Drake Lindsay as a starter next year.
NCAA shows him as a Jr./SW Mizz says he's a Sr. He was here for 3 seasons, one was a redshirt, one the Covid "freebie". He only played 4 games in 23 before a season-ending injury, so there might be a medical redshirt available (if those still exist), your guess is as good as mine.Pretty sure he is out of eligibility after this year as well but who knows with the way eligibility works these days.
Has anyone been to a New Hampshire game lately!?!!??Who is the top fcs qb right now?
Clark has one more year, but I think he stays where he’s at. We almost certainly will ride with Lindsey as the starter next year.Pretty sure he is out of eligibility after this year as well but who knows with the way eligibility works these days.
Athan got to start several games and we saw the real potential, we haven't seen that with Lindsey yet and if we keep shopping for QBs, the ones we recruited will be shopped by another team..So did Athan at one point.
That being said, why take a qb from a losing team that lost his job mid-season? I'd pass.
