More conference realignment, albeit at mid-major level

Northern Kentucky moves from the Atlantic Sun to the Horizon League. Gives the Horizon the perfect number for a basketball league (10), while the Atlantic Sun is now down to 7 schools. NJIT is the nation's only Division 1 basketball independent, wouldn't be a geographical fit, but would the A-Sun be interested to get conference back to more manageable number of 8?

UAB should join the A-Sun. Yes its a major downfall but they are close to all of the schools.
