All 3 played 1 power 4 team and 2 lesser teams. All 3 have the same records, but they are not all in the same place heading into conference play.

Iowa - lost to their rival and was down at halftime against Troy at home. Offense is better but still leaves a lot to be desired and defense is not as dominant as it has been in recent years.

Wisconsin - didn’t look great against cupcakes and got dominated at home by Alabama. Also may have lost their QB to a significant injury and backup looked very mediocre. No shame in losing to Alabama but they got their butt kicked at home.

Minnesota - a makeable FG away from 3-0. Back to back shutouts by the D and a QB who is looking more and more comfortable each game.

I know which team I would want to be with conference play about to start.

If the Gophers offensive line settled down they could make some noise.

We'll know more around 10 PM next Saturday but cautiously optimistic.

Glad it's the Hawks actually. A "W" against those guys has multiple levels of meaning, especially keeping Floyd home from I-O-W-A City.

Ski U Mah!
