give me another guard that can push both mitchell/Christie and the idea of playing 3 guards(like bens first year)
a 3rd guard for depth
a solid back up center
a big wing(3) type. especially if we cant get another high end guard to push the agenda

His stat line is really impressive. I get it's the WCC and not the B1G, but still. Hitting 44% of his 3's on 5.4 attempts a game is really impressive. Add in a career 72% FT shooter, and at least on paper, this looks like a huge get.

His stat line is really impressive. I get it's the WCC and not the B1G, but still. Hitting 44% of his 3's on 5.4 attempts a game is really impressive. Add in a career 72% FT shooter, and at least on paper, this looks like a huge get.

The WCC was actually very good this year. After the Mtn West it was next best Mid major league. Couple that with Pepperdine's OOC schedule, their competition was top 100 as far as SOS goes. He improved across the board from his FR to SO year, and that was with playing against tougher competitor his 2nd season. This is a really good get IMO. I think he's an upgrade over Cooper IMO.

5 assists per game also isn't too far off of Cooper's 6.

Thought you were comparing Cooper at Morehead State to Mitchell at Pepperdine. I'm higher on Mitchell given his competition level coming in.
