Did anyone else hear Pat Reusse and his Saturday cohort mention that Gopher QB recruit Leidner's 7 on 7 team won the regional and is going to Florida for the nationals? Or did I just dream that? When is it? How big is it?

you were not dreaming. i heard that as well on 1500 ESPN over the weekend. sounds like mitch and lakeville south beat minnetonka for the right to represent minnesota at 7-on-7 nationals.

Tiny correction: Mitch's team went to the Nationals last year. This year they lost in a qualifier. Minnetonka represented MN in the Nationals in Ohio, and finished in the top-4.
