Obviously AJ Abrams was the story and everything else is secondary. That said, the Gophers would have been within striking distance if they just converted half of their open opportunities in the 2nd half. It was the story of (atleast the second half) the season: Minnesota failing to convert offensively. It's one thing to miss contested shots, but to constantly miss at the rim on a 3 on 2 break or for our best shooters to miss wide open looks from 3, it's very tough to beat a solid team that way.

Texas played great, they probably beat everyone who has played so far today with that effort.
