First, both are short SG trying to play PG..
Stating it as fact again, you forgot to add "I think"!
So clueless.

Jacob Thomas is great and all, but whether he scores 1 point or 100 points if his grades don't get him into the U, it is irrelevant.
(that Jacob Thomas lacked). Minnesota got Austin Hollins instead of Thomas. Gophers got the better player of those 2, I think.
Do we actually know if his grades/act score would not have been good enough to get into the U? He was never offered so I would assume he never applied or tried to get accepted.

Considering we just picked up Chip, we could have offered Hollins and Thomas.
no we couldnt have, 1. thomas had already signed after we got hollins, 2. the scholly we wouldve given thomas didnt become availible until after he commtitted. This worries me for the 2011 class though when we couldve had 2 4 stars, and 1 solid 3 star, now we can get 2 of those players
thats not the point, we weren't desperate for him until now, we didnt want any acedemic or personal problems on the team, but now he seems like a missed oppurtunity
ill admit i wanted JT, but Noreen never. He wont be a diferencemaker there or here
i dont know who you cheer for but its not the gophers, and you really love the Noreens, are you their dad or something? I think for myself, thank you much.
We lost Jasperson, Coleman, Tharpe and Ogelsby are not locks, and IMO we should be pushing harder for Ross Travis.
Speaking of top 5's...
http://twitter.com/HawkeyeReport According to a re-tweet: Coleman's top 5- 1. Iowa 2. Rutgers 3. Virginia 4. Temple 5. Minnesota
It's not in this order, but is this top five accurate?
Gopher Warrior said:The kid really likes McCaffery, but if the right offer(s) come in, would probably tend to stay out east. For us, one to at least keep monitoring for now.
youre right, BT tourement runner ups, 3 20 win seasons and back to back tourneys isn't credit worthy. everythinng is peachy

I absolutely DO cheer for the Gophers. I go to about 8 games a year. But I'm not going to give out false claims. Why does my commenting on KEVIN Noreen being a better recruit then 3 out of 5 of our recruits mean I really love them or I'm there dad? I love Jacob Thomas too. Does that mean I'm his dad? I base my opinion Kevin being a Gopher on the fact that he's now at a final four school after he de-committed to a Big East school. Say what you want about MTS, he still had a good showing with Pump & Run during the AAU season last year. And reading another post it doesn't sound like the Pump program is too happy about the bypassing Kevin. With them competing with Pulley for our top players it doesn't sit well trying to work with the as alias to support the program. Plain and simple I'm a frustrated fan that's not going to say everything is good with the program right now. We don't have a single recruit right now for 2011. We lost Jasperson, Coleman, Tharpe and Ogelsby are not locks, and IMO we should be pushing harder for Ross Travis. If you want to think that everything is fine go right ahead. I'll give credit when credit is do.
If they were, wouldn't he a be a Gopher right now?
No, not necessarily.
What do you mean?

His grades may have been a deterrent for Tubby to offer him, but unless you know it to be 100% FACT that he did not qualify or got rejected admission, GH's should not be saying he didn't have the grades to play at the UofM.
I've been very impressed with Thomas too. I actually spoke to him last week, and he had told me he had been cleared by the NCAA and was ready to play.
I heard last night at the HP league that he has qualified but was too late to get into summer school. He will be starting school at Long Beach State fall semester.
Jacob is still confident he will be good to go at LBSU so who knows, nobody thought Rodney had a chance to qualify either but I don't think Jake had a chance to get into MN which is why he wasn't recruited very hard.

It is 100% factual that he hasn't passed the NCAA clearinghouse yet.

So is it also 100% FACT that he did not qualify or got rejected admission to the University of Minnesota? Answer: NO.
If it's a fact provide your source.
