Minnesota Football: Evaluating Year 6 of the P.J. Fleck era

It's been pointed out, that Athan threw to the wrong side of the field.
Doesn’t negate a single thing I said. Could’ve just as easily been a perfect pop-up deflection to the other side, when you don’t call passing plays. That’s on coaches

The Iowa loss is on the coaching staff. Sorry, it is.

The drive they called the TD they had a bunch of successful passing plays. Then they don't call passing plays for most of the rest of the game.

On Mo's "put da team on my back doh" drive: you call 15 runs in a drive, then suddenly "Oh crap, we're finally in third and long, hey Athan throw a perfect pass, hope you're still warm!!"

And the pass was fine, their DB played it perfectly because he's very talented, and then we get the most unlucky bounce on the break-up that could possibly happen.
I agree! Ibrahim and the OL were pounding their brains out vs Purdue AND Iowa. It's time for the coaching staff to match their peers with more creative play calling.
