Posted an article on MinnesotaPreps.com yesterday with an update on the Class of 2012 from Minnesota. Thought I would share the updates on the board:
As of today there are a handful of players with Division 1 offers that are still uncommitted. The two biggest names are Eden Prairie LB Drake Michaelson (6'1 205) and Holy Angels DE Brent Pierce (6'6 250). Michaelson is making a visit to Illinois this weekend and holds 12 FBS/FCS offers to include an offer from Wyoming and Air Force. Pierce also holds a number of FBS/FCS offers to include Wyoming as well. Both were offered preferred walk-on opportunities with Minnesota.
Washburn WR Kyle Hughes (5'8 160) opened up his recruiting after committing to Eastern Michigan. With a coaching change there, he is looking at colleges in the region. Triton Athlete Adam Bungum (6'2 180) is considering offers from Army, North Dakota, and a preferred walk-on opportunity with Minnesota. It appears that Minnetonka CB Charles Webb is considering a JC opportunity for next year.
