Minnesota -4 vs northwestern

Any week in the Big Ten, crazy crap can happen.

Illinois over Penn State?? Etc

Thinking we’ll show up and waltz over to the win in either of the next two weeks, is a recipe for disaster.
That’s the beauty of Bowling Greene at this point - we won’t have any pancake problems moving forward - I guarantee all involved know this is the year to take the next step forward be winning the West!

And that is the key for this team. If they show up with the knowledge to keep the focus and intensity, it should be a good win. If they show up thinking what you posted, bad things can happen.

Intensity in ten cities!!!!!!!!!!!

None of us play for the team...noting we think has any effect on the game.

Wait a minute, I have read here that fitz is an underpaid genius.

Only four points? Should be over a TD and probably even double digits. The national media is simply giving the Gophers no love.
The national media might be giving the Gophers no love. But they don't set the point spread.

The point spread is set in order to get people to bet 50/50 on each side. If the national media gave the Gophers more love.....or if the Gophers were receiving more votes.....the line would have been set higher. But as long as the media brings up the BG loss every single week.....perception of the Gophers will suffer.

So....indirectly.....yes.....the national media has a direct influence on the line.

Wisc/Iowa next week has an over/under of 36!!! Never seen that low before
It's tempting to take the over but if one team doesn't do anything the under is going to hit. Something like 20-7 ends up happening.

Right. And if they score more than that, like 24-17, the over hits.

I believe they have natural grass in Evanston, grown long. In bad weather, an inferior team at Ryan has a "puncher's chance".

Anything could happen. Northwestern at home is dangerous. Illinois knocked off Penn State and outplayed them. No game is a gimme in the B10.
