Per Joe:

If Niko Medved's Gophers want to turn some heads around the country, they'll need to start by winning on the road against Missouri on Wednesday night.

Missouri is far from a national power, but they are an early pick to make the NCAA Tournament. According to ESPN's Joe Lunardi, Missouri is projected to get into the big dance as an at-large team, with Lunardi's way-too-early forecast suggesting the Tigers could be an 8-seed.

In that same forecast, Lunardi says Minnesota is the No. 99 team in the nation and he's "considering" them as a potential tourney team.

Go Gophers!!

Mizzou has some serious size with a 7’ center, 2 - 6’11” forwards that can stretch the floor, and 2 wings at 6’8” and 6’9”. This will be a good early test to see how much of an issue size will be for this squad.

Edit: looks like they also a 7’5” RS Freshman that is injured right now and not expected to play!

7'5"....crazy to think there are more and more players popping up over well over 7 feet tall.

Will be a good chance to see how we handle a team with some skilled size similar to what we are likely to see in conference games.

You know what's nuts? Mizzou also had a 7'5" guy the last time the Gophers played them in 23-24.
