Minneapolis Laker legend Elgin Baylor passes away at age 86

RIP Elgin. You were my first "Favorite Basketball Player".

He was on the last Minneapolis Lakers team to make an NBA Finals. Where they were swept by the Celtics. Thought he won one here, but he didn't.

Anybody know if he was the last living player who wore a Minneapolis Lakers uniform?

Edit: Just looked and Bobby "Slick" Leonard is still alive. He's 88.

Bud Grant as well.

RIP to Baylor. I'm always a bit jealous that my dad got to see him play over at the Minneapolis Armory back in the day. Also, I read this article by Bill Simmons many many years ago and it's always stuck with me. To average 38-19-5 while serving in the Army is absolutely insane.

Edit* Heh, mention the article then no link. Here it is. https://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/081008
