Jerry Kill mentioned on the Sports Huddle today that Miles Thomas was awarded a scholarship this fall. He has made some key plays the last several weeks including a key reception yesterday and a block on a Rodrick Williams run.

Well deserved. In addition to being a good blocker, he is our secret weapon on 4th and short.

No argument from me. A fan favorite who was well deserving of a scholarship. Congrats Miles!

Go Gophers!

Has this kid failed to catch a pass thrown to him this season? I know there haven't been a lot of them, but he has caught all the ones I remember being thrown to him.

It seems every catch he has made has been on 3rd down and I don't recall a single one he dropped either. Great to have him on the team at a position where we have no depth.

Congrats to him! He has played really well this season.

This is one reason why I think we can continue to move forward with our run game next year. The backs may not be as seasoned as Cobb was coming off his 1200 yard season last year, but the line, TEs, WRs and FBs will be better across the board. Should make for some great offensive growth next year.

4th down against Ohio state I believe. But I'm trying to agree with your point and not argue/correct you.

Congratulations Miles! It's great to see hard-work, dedications and game day savvy be rewarded. I'm looking forward to seeing more great things from this Kansas recruit.

Star Tribune refers to the big block by fullback Miles Tarver in today's paper.

This goes to show the staff's ability to identify gaps in talent, recruit, and develop players. Miles is playing great.
