Mike Sherels

Did anyone else see Coach Kill and Mike Sherels sitting next to each other and chatting during the basketball game today? Maybe there is some steam behind the story that Mike wanted to get onto the coaching staff at the U in some capacity? However, he is present at a lot of basketball games so it very well could have just simply been small talk too.

Mike's wife works for the men's bball team so he likely would have access to UofM seats through her.

That said, I don't have any inside information, and Sherels well may be in the running for a grad assistant role.

I think he would be a terrific GA. I would be happy if he joined the staff as a position coach after cutting his teeth as a GA.

Sure would be nice to see a Rochester guy on the sidelines! My nephew played against him in high school. Good guy!
