He just said on the news that Nelson played the whole game with Leidner out with a hip pointer?

I thought Mitch Richmond hurt his throwing thumb
He is confused. Nelson has the hip pointer. Kill said that they didn't rotate the quarterbacks for fear of Nelson getting stiff sitting out a series or two and his hip pointer would end up hurting worse because of it.
Remember, TC media is TC media.
On the KFAN post game Claeys said they kept Leidner out of the game due to a hip pointer, that it would have been tough for him given the cold weather combined with the hip pointer to play. That's where Max got that from.
Actually, I listened to the post game show. And Coach Kill (possibly Claeys, because they interviewed both right after each other, but I think it was Kill) said that Leidner didn't play because of a hip pointer. I know all week that it was Nelson who had the bad hip, but that's clearly what he said and I noted it. So that's where Max got it...
Dynamite investigative work by Max. His research for the week consisted of him listening to the radio.
Great work Maxy!
I listened to the post game. Whoever was doing the interview asked Kill why Nelson played the whole game and Leidner did not play. Kill said he had a hip pointer and they were afraid if he came out and sat on the bench it may tighten up.
Maxy heard him wrong.
The 'he' could have referred to either one, but those in the know knew Nelson had a hip pointer. Should have been easy to figure out.
The clarification I heard on the Leidner not playing due to Nelson's hip pointer is that if Nelson sits too long he would tighten up in the cold weather.
That's what I heard as well
