It was a nice run.
Back when there was speculation he was going to be named the permanent head coach of Nebraska prior to the Gopher game, I watched a video of his wife being interviewed about recruiting, her husband and the all in nature of them both at Nebraska and the absolute mindset he was going to be the coach.
She was a big part of talking to the players....very involved in recruiting and cooking for kids etc
When he didn't get the job it must have devastated both of them pretty badly.
