This is kind of my feeling on the subject as well. I'd like to see Morris start, mostly because of how well Gardner has played against us the past 2 years. Morris is a little worrisome because there's so little tape on him and he was a pretty highly regarded recruit. Early returns haven't looked good though, and he's only a true sophomore who played little his freshman year.

Not a ton of tape, but he did start and play their whole bowl game last year so at least there's that.

A few minutes ago some Wolverine message boards (take the accuracy thereof for what it's worth) began reporting that Shane Morris would be named the starter for Saturday's game against the Gophers. I, for one, applaud that choice. Gardner has been hard to handle the past couple years. And this season we've all seen our defense lose contain several times against mobile quarterbacks.
