Big picture I think this will help them. Will have to learn to play without him. Look for the West Virginia transfer to step up his game. Harris will benefit from this.

Sparty's schedule in next 2-3 weeks is manageable, relatively speaking:

vs. Oakland
@ Iowa
@ Gophers
Illinois
@ Penn State

Iowa would be the only game I'd expect them to lose without Valentine.

Tough break for Denzel Valentine. I would be surprised if it affected the outcome with the Gophers, however.
