Go Gophers!!
If that's what they get for recruiting during covid, what penalties are possible if/when the NCAA gets around to dealing with the Connor Stallions in-game scouting violations?
and whatever happened with the FBI investigation into computer crimes allegedly committed by a Michigan coach or staffer?
to quote the bard: "The evil that men do lives after them..." Michigan is going to be dealing with the aftermath of the Harbaugh era for a while.
Michigan’s state AG will just sue the NCAA.if/when the NCAA gets around to dealing with the Connor Stallions in-game scouting violations?
Not as far as I can tell. Just have to keep nose clean or at least not get caught in the next 3 years.I'm assuming this doesn't mean they're banned from postseason play?
So the probation just means they have to be extra cautious. After the 3 years are up, they can go back to disregarding rules with very little to not penalties. Not as far as I can tell. Just have to keep nose clean or at least not get caught in the next 3 years.
It's Michigan....so yeah.....my assumption is that they will get out of all of this with nothing more than some minor penalties and maybe some extra scrutiny but won't face anything major. But who knows....maybe the NCAA will surprise us and actually punish a helmet school for cheating....it could happen.....maybe......but probably not....So the probation just means they have to be extra cautious. I hope not. Wouldn't be fun to go up there to watch a game. Boring place.Does this mean Michigan will be replaced by NDSU?
