Message from Fisch to Players: Ignore Me.

StandStill55 please tell us when the said they would abandon the spread entirely? What will be damaging to Fisch and Brewster is if the offense sputters and they make NO adjustments. They obviously realize their offensive scheme will have to match personnel and skills and the transition to a more Pro style offense will take time. StandStill55 is obviously a Masonite and trying to create a controversy where there really is none. Maybe he is the guy who said there was a "Schism" with Favre when there was none. Good effort StandStill55 but we see right through you. Now, go find something relevent to talk about. I am sure Buckyville will want to hear your comments over there.

Yeah, I didn't think you had the nards to reply back. nm

He doesn't have nards, but that is completely unrelated to this thread.

And since I'm chiming in, we have average running backs, but I don't think Terry Jackson or Amir Pinnix were great players, yet the put up some darn good numbers. The offensive line is not good, plain and simple. Until they improve, I want to see us throwing the ball.

Everyone wants to pile on the running backs, but we do not have the offensive line to become a power run team. It's very simple.

They may get better as the year goes on, but right now our o-line is below average. You don't get to 'Pound the Rock' with a weak line.

Ditto. This bothers me too. Our running backs are very average but they aren't the problem. Not creating holes for the running backs is the problem.

Running back is the most overrated position in football. An average to above average running back spots holes and hits them quickly which allows him to maximize what the OL blocks for him. The difference between an average back and a great back is that the great back can make players miss after he hits the holes turning a 4-5 yard run in to a 40 yard run.

I'll take an average back with a good to great OL over a great RB with an bad OL anyday.
