I was reading his bio on the Washington NFL team's websiter (sorry I think they should change the name) and two things stick out to me as interesting. He earned his MBA from Carlson around the same time Zorn was QB coach here. I wonder if they became familiar with each other at that time. Also, he was a systems analyst before going into coaching.
Aside from those little tidbits his overall story is almost too good to be true from my standpoint. A Minnesota kid who worked his way up from the MIAC would play well in the media. And if he turned the offense around quickly he would immediately be crowned Brew's successor. I'm not saying Meidt is my guy, but if he ends up getting the job, I won't be disappointed.
