I've never really understood the phrase "trap game". Is that just sports speak for "game we should win, but for some reason we are afraid our boys might choke?" Either way, I agree with this guy about the wakeup call against Purdue. I'd be shocked if we don't come out flying on all cylinders after last week.

I'm not certain but I think it means a game that a team might look past and play without energy as a result.

I'm not sure what the 9-0 refers to, but we've only played 7 games.

It's how many writers on OTE pick the game straight up or vs the spread. In this case, everyone picked the Gophers straight up, and had them covering.
