Mayo announcers may have been worst ever

Literally, this. Is there room for fun in anything? My theory is that things in America have gotten so miserable across so many systems that we are now cynical about everything.
I'd like to think this is mostly restricted to online discourse. If I was sitting down with Gopher fans over a beer or coffee, they would probably be laughing about the broadcast and PJ's mayo bath.

Wow. That's pretty cynical.

100%....the internet is great for a lot of things but it also is a cesspool for people who just want to complain all the time as well. There is always someone out there looking for a reason to be offended or bothered by something.

Yea, probably - but I personally don't see a lot of optimism or feel a lot of it on most days. Without side tracking a football forum, have you tried buying a house recently, or getting healthcare, or having a wage hold up to inflation? Anyway - no life is without struggle, but I def have lived in decades that felt less downtrodden. All that said, I never suggested I was above the cynicism, just that my theory as to why we can't have a little fun is because of the time we are living in.

Didn't mind the broadcast, but I'm finding myself comparing it to the Barstool Sports broadcast of last years Arizona Bowl. That tops the all-time worst list of awful announcing. Think KFAN Power Trip group announcing a bowl game. Dumb humor+zero football knowledge.
