It was a matter of time B4 Gray got his chance.
I was concerned that he would struggle mightly when given the opportunity. But Marquis did very well which has to boost his confidence and also that of his teammates. Not just during the TD drive as he accounted for himself well when he saw the field. I am happy for the young man and hope this will carry him forward.
This team has to get back to square one and work on base plays. Assuming that Gray will see more PT and watching Weber failing to make the offense go, this makes the most sense. Work on a simple game plan and execution.
Weber has had his chance and now needs to help make Gray a better player. The future is now.
