Who??Players are starting to hit the portal. Teams are expecting to only be allowed 105 spots on the team and don't know if walk-on programs will be allowed.
Yes I agree. In today's world it is hard to see how a team can keep a player for more than a year or two as a developing player if they can't start in the sophomore or Junior year they have to let them go.
Tough seeing some of these development guys leave.
I don’t think that’s true. Teams are happy to have players develop, now they don’t want a kid just warming the bench for 4-5 years, but if they can develop into a starter or significant player as an upper classman that’s fine. A lot of players don’t have the patience for that though.Yes I agree. The 105 roster limit is brutal for walk-ons. Those guys will be forced to look for a lower level school as opposed to going to a power 4 school and trying to earn their spot. Also eliminates those guys who know they are never going to play but just want to be part of the team while getting their degree.Yes I agree.
