Maturi gets runner-up for Turkey of the Year

Had I been on the committee, I would have had the Vikings defense as Turkey of the year.
 



The problem with Ruesse awarding Turkey of the Year honors is that he never looks in the mirror. If he did there would be only one winner year after year. IMHO Fat Pat deserves Turkey of Year and Decade

The annual column has gotten pretty stale in the last couple of years. He could've easily gotten that interest back up by naming himself for stating that the trade for Kevin Love was a disaster after the first home exhibition game prior to his rookie season. A 30-30 game a couple weeks ago and a 30-20 game against the Spurs last night would've led nicely into the article and people would've been buzzing.

For a guy who's made a career out of reading the home base (knowing when to rip...coming out with the positive when least expected), he misread this one. Brett Favre? Duh? Yawn?

As far as Maturi runner up....Tubby hire looking good and what if we're sitting here in a week or two going "HOLY SH**!!!!!! We hired him?!?!?!?"
